About Culture Beer and Cheese:

Part restaurant, part store you will find cheese, as well as all the accoutrements, jams, honey, olives, cured meats, and of course, the perfect beer pairing to make your meal complete! They serve delicious crepes, cheese, and charcuterie plates in house to satisfy your cravings. Showcasing locally sourced products, it's hard to beat the wide selection of craft beer that Michigan has to offer!

Owners Carly and David Leisk say that cheese has always been a favorite snack in the Leisk house, but their knowledge and passion for fine cheese was honed while working at long time NYC favorite Artisanal Fromagerie and Bistro, and more recently at the hip Queens spot Astoria Bier and Cheese.

Their interest in craft beer began years ago on their baseball themed cross country road trips, during which they'd make it a point to only drink local brews, and visit many craft breweries along the way. While they still enjoy (and sell) wine, they love sharing the exciting and sometimes unexpected perfection that is pairing craft beer with fine cheese.
