What to Expect -

Wear crafting clothes (you don't mind getting glue on) and comfortable shoes

Cost includes materials - We will provide:

• Basic Woven Sun Hat
• Ribbons
• Feathers
• Embellishments

• Tacky Glue, Hot Glue and Floral Wire

BYOB - we will provide water, tea and light snacks

Create and take home a beautiful Derby hat that you can wear to our 1st annual Kentucky Derby Brunch on May 4th!

This is our second scholarship fundraiser! We have established a League of Interesting Women scholarship fund that will be awarded to a college-bound woman in graduating in 2019. We want to empower young women to take time to do interesting things while getting their formal education.

Come and decorate a wonderful hat, hang out with interesting women and help us raise money for our scholarship fund!

Wild and crazy or super conservative, everyone knows the Derby is ALL abut the hat. Make yours reflective of YOU! We will be showing off our lovely creations at the Kentucky Derby Brunch on May 4th where you can win prizes for the most creative, most reflective of the owner and the most fun!

You will be provided a very basic woven sun hat and basic embellishments. We encourage you to bring your own hat, ribbons and decorations that suit your personality. Want to decorate more than one hat? RSVP for multiples - each ticket will buy you one hat!

Basic hats vary in size and color. You choose the size you want to paint at the event. First come, first served. OR bring your own!
